Over the years the boys developed a taste for kingfishing and soon fell in love with the sport. In 2006 they joined the SKA and began fishing division 6 of the Mercury Tournament Trail. In the fall of 2006 the team added new members Matt Simanteris and Kamri Vaughan and soon found the success they were looking for, winning the fall Gators Suncoast Kingfish Classic with a 48.56 smoker. In spring of 2007 Reel Crazy added Brandon Vaughan to the team.
